About the project:
This keynote and workshop explored how to support neurodivergent children and youth by creating learning and therapeutic environments that prioritize inclusivity, regulation, and authentic communication. Participants learned how to shift away from compliance-based approaches and instead use strengths-based strategies to support healthy coping strategies, remove barriers, and collaborate with neurodivergent youth and families. The session emphasized practical tools for honoring neurodivergent ways of thinking, communicating, and engaging with the world.
