About the project:
A day of professional development for members of the learning support team, including SLPs, OTs, school psychologists, and counsellors in School District 72. This workshop provides practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies for supporting learners in school settings. Participants will learn how to recognize regulation needs, reduce sensory and cognitive overload, and shift from compliance-based approaches toward connection-focused, strengths-based practices. Attendees will leave with tools they can apply immediately to create safer, more inclusive learning environments.
