About
1.25 Hour Course Presented by Mary Klovance Designed specifically with neurodivergent women in mind, this practical, neurodiversity-affirming course explores how the ADH(D) brain works, ADHD strategies for women, how hormones can influence executive functioning and capacity, and how to build strategies that work with your brain rather than constantly fighting against it both in and outside of the workplace. You’ll explore the connection between estrogen, dopamine and executive functioning, including why certain times in the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause can bring increased brain fog, irritability, reduced capacity and changes in ADH(D) symptoms. You’ll also learn how tracking your own patterns can help you anticipate fluctuations and plan accordingly. Throughout the course, Mary introduces practical strategies you can experiment with in everyday life, including: * Understanding the difference between ability and capacity * Working with your ADH(D) brain chemistry * Reducing decision fatigue and overwhelm * Breaking through task initiation and completion challenges * Managing hyperfocus without burning yourself out * Creating ADH(D)-friendly task lists and time-management systems * Identifying and supporting your sensory needs * Understanding rejection sensitivity and emotional overwhelm * Building nervous-system regulation and self-compassion practices * Planning around hormonal and energy fluctuations Rather than trying to make yourself more neurotypical, this course encourages you to better understand your individual brain, recognize your strengths and challenges, and develop a personalized toolbox of strategies you can actually use. Come away with a deeper understanding of yourself, practical tools to experiment with immediately, and a new way of thinking about productivity: not “Why can’t I just do this?” but “What does my brain need in order to do this?”
