Supporting Neurodivergent Students: A NeuroAffirming Approach

This course is a practical, strengths-based program for educators & school support staff who want to better understand neurodivergent learners and create classrooms where they can thrive. Grounded in neuroaffirming practice, this program explores how to support autistic, ADH(D), and other neurodivergent students through connection, communication, collaboration, and meaningful accommodations—without trying to “fix” who they are.

You’ll learn how to recognize and reduce barriers, respond to distress with compassion, and build supportive routines, low-demand communication strategies, and sensory-informed environments.

By the end, you’ll leave with clear tools and a neuroaffirming lens you can apply right away to support student wellbeing, belonging, and learning.
